Kōgo Hotomi (保富 康午, March 2, 1930 - September 19, 1984) was a Japanese lyricist from Susami, Wakayama Prefecture. He is best known for writing the Japanese lyrics to the popular song "Oki na Kodokei" (大きな古時計), which is widely recognized in Japan. His real name features the kanji for 'Kōgo', and he is also referred to with alternative spellings of his name. Hotomi made significant contributions to the Japanese music scene through his lyric writing.
