Kristina Margareta Björklund (1941-2011) was a Finnish-Swedish author and literary scholar born in Helsinki. She studied literature and Nordic philology, earning her master's degree in 1968 and a doctorate in 1982. Björklund published two collections of short stories and five novels, notable for their influence from Oscar Parland's narrative techniques. Her 2001 novel, 'Älskade blåa öga', received the Swedish Yle Literature Prize and was nominated for the Runeberg Prize. Between 1982 and 2001, she served as a lecturer in Swedish at Helsinki University.
