Kutbettin Arzu was a Turkish politician born on April 1, 1955, and passed away on August 30, 2023. He served as the Minister of Food, Agriculture, and Livestock in the interim government formed by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu from August 28 to November 17, 2015. A former member of the Justice and Development Party (AKP), he was also a parliament member for Diyarbakır from 2007 to 2011. In the 2009 local elections, he was the AKP candidate for the Diyarbakır mayoralty but lost to the pro-Kurdish Democratic Society Party.
