Choi Kwang-jo, born on March 2, 1942, is a notable figure in the martial arts community as a former South Korean national champion in taekwondo. He is one of the twelve original masters of taekwondo and played a significant role in the Korea Taekwon-Do Association. After serving in the South Korean military, he moved to the United States in 1970, where he established the Choi Kwang Do international martial art organization based in Atlanta, Georgia.
