Larry Labruce Koon (February 18, 1944 – October 15, 2021) was an American politician from South Carolina. He served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1975 to 2004 as a member of the Republican Party, representing Lexington County. Koon was defeated in a Republican primary runoff in 2004 by Nikki Haley, who later became the governor and the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. At the time of his defeat, Koon was the longest-serving member of the House, having a significant influence in the state politics.
