Leonard Aloysius Patrick Malaghan (1906–1967) was a prominent New Zealand dairy factory manager and ice cream manufacturer. He led the Tip Top Ice Cream Company, which is now part of Fonterra. He and his wife, Ann, donated shares to establish the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research before his passing due to Hodgkin's disease. His contributions to business and medical research have been recognized through his induction into the New Zealand Business Hall of Fame.
