Lukas Mats Romson, born January 12, 1969, is a Swedish Social Democratic politician, writer, equality consultant, and transgender man. He is known for his advocacy of transgender rights through his involvement with RFSL and the Social Democrats, as well as his personal experience as a trans individual. Romson has a background in law from Stockholm University and has served as an equality coordinator at the university’s student union. He is also the brother of politician Åsa Romson.
