Asanov has held several prominent positions at Ural Federal University, including Dean of the Mathematics and Mechanics Faculty and Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science. His research focuses on topology and applied problems such as automatic circuit design. He has published over 30 scientific works and received several awards for his contributions to education.
