Manuel van Loggem was a Dutch writer born on March 8, 1916, in Amsterdam, and he passed away on April 8, 1998, in the same city. He authored novels, short stories, plays, and screenplays for television films and radio dramas. Loggem studied literature and psychology and worked as a psychotherapist. From 1971 to 1975, he edited the science fiction magazine 'Morgen' and was the editor of several SF anthologies. He is regarded as a significant author in Dutch science fiction and fantasy.
