He earned his Doctorate in Physics and Mathematics in 1957 and was appointed as a professor in 1959. Cavadov was recognized as a Distinguished Teacher in 1943 and later became a Distinguished Scientist in 1962. Additionally, he was elected as a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan in 1962. Cavadov's contributions significantly advanced the fields of physics and mathematics in Azerbaijan.
