Marcel Kerševan was a Slovenian Lazarist and missionary, born on June 1, 1907, in Trieste, and passed away on June 4, 1994, in Gorizia. After completing elementary school, he joined the Lazarists in Ljubljana in 1929. He worked in missionary printing before moving to Belgium and then to the Belgian Congo, where he contributed to the construction of missionary buildings. He published articles in 'Katoliški misijon' during his early years in Africa. He is buried in Trieste alongside his brother Karel Kerševan.
