Di Rollo faced challenges at Toulouse due to a heart murmur but returned to Scotland A in 2008. Initially not favored by coach Matt Williams, he found success under Frank Hadden, earning his first national cap in 2002. Di Rollo scored in key matches, contributing to Scotland's victories, and later became head coach at Watsonians RFC.
