Margarita Georgievna Migunova was a Soviet and Ukrainian writer born on February 22, 1927, in Irkutsk, Siberian Krai. She was a member of the USSR Writers' Union from 1955 to 1991 and continued her work with the Writers' Union of Ukraine from 1991 to 2014. Additionally, she was affiliated with the Writers' Union of Crimea and the Union of Russian, Ukrainian, and Belarusian Writers. Migunova was also a literary editor and a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union during her writing career.
