She published her first book in the 1940s and wrote under a name that beautified her first name while referencing her hometown. From the early 1950s until 1965, she worked for the women's magazine Libelle. In addition to local novels, which she called psychological novels, she also wrote poetry, with a weekly poem published until her death in 2010. Her works include nearly eighty titles, with about one million copies sold.
