María Fernanda Ceriani is an Argentine biologist known for her research on the neuronal mechanisms that regulate circadian rhythms, utilizing Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism. She serves as the president of INIS Biotech, leads the Behavioral Genetics Laboratory at the Leloir Institute Foundation, and is affiliated with the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET). Ceriani earned her PhD from the University of Buenos Aires and conducted postdoctoral studies at the Scripps Research Institute. She was honored with a L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Award in 2011.
