Maria Janna (Marian) Vegt-Haveman is a Dutch politician and member of the D66 party, born on January 23, 1946. She graduated in law from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in 1971 and worked at the provincial office in Assen from 1972. She became the mayor of Peize in December 1987 and later served as mayor of Frjentsjerteradiel until January 1, 2010, when she retired early. In December 2009, she was appointed a Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau.
