Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong was a notorious serial killer recognized for her role as the mastermind behind the Brian Wells case, known as the Pizza Bomber case, which occurred in Erie, Pennsylvania, in 2003. She orchestrated a complex conspiracy involving the kidnapping of a pizza delivery person and a bomb strapped to his neck to rob a bank. In 2011, she was sentenced to life in prison. Diehl-Armstrong was also convicted of murdering two former partners and had a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. She died of cancer in 2017.
