Martin Abbühl is a Swiss jazz musician born on January 20, 1961, in Bern. He plays the violin, guitar, and sings. He began classical violin lessons in 1972 and was influenced by Stéphane Grappelli's music. Due to the lack of a jazz violin instructor, he studied guitar at the Swiss Jazz School, graduating in 1988. Abbühl has collaborated with various groups, released multiple albums, and has taught jazz violin since 1991. He also teaches ukulele at the Bern Conservatory.
