Knut Martin Gavler was a Swedish advertising artist, illustrator, and graphic designer, born on April 24, 1915, in Gävle, and passed away in 1986. He studied to become a drawing teacher at the Technical School in Stockholm from 1934 to 1939 and furthered his art education through study trips to London and Paris. Gavler participated in numerous art advertising exhibitions in cities including Stockholm, Copenhagen, Vienna, Stuttgart, London, and New York, and had a solo exhibition showcasing 50 years of work at Landskrona Museum in 2014. His work is represented in the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
