Matjaž Švagelj is a Slovenian guitarist and music arranger born on December 22, 1963, in Koper. He began music in primary school playing drums in a band and later formed his first ensemble playing bass guitar. He joined the band 'Nova pot' as a solo guitarist, recording a CD. In 2001, he started performing with Slavko Ivančič. He joined the legendary band Prizma in 2011 and appears in various projects, including theater. He also represented Slovenia in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest with Kalamari.
