Mats Örbrink, born on January 7, 1951, is a Swedish journalist and television executive. He began his career as a night editor at Aftonbladet, leading initial coverage of the Palme murder. Later, he worked as a producer at Strix Television and became the program director for TV3 in 1993. Örbrink played a crucial role in relocating TV3's news program to Stockholm, launching TV3 Direkt in 1995. He subsequently worked at Femman, Kunskaps-TV, and TV4, where he held various management positions, including purchasing director and development manager.
