Meryem Sevin (1960-2007) was a celebrated Turkish poet and lyricist, known for her contributions to Turkish art music. Born in Eskişehir, she gained recognition for her poignant lyrics, notably winning awards in 1990 for 'Düşünürken Seni Yüzüm Gülüyor'. A member of the Eskişehir Poetry Association, she dedicated much of her life to poetry and music. Meryem Sevin passed away in 2007 after a year-long illness, leaving behind a legacy of lyrical beauty and emotional depth.
