Michael Humphrey Farebrother (1920-1987) was an English first-class cricketer and educator. Born in Chelsea, he studied at Eton and Trinity College, Oxford, where he played cricket as a left-arm fast-medium bowler. His career ended with the onset of World War II, during which he served in the Grenadier Guards. After the war, he became a schoolmaster and was appointed headmaster of St Peter's School, Seaford, in 1956. He was the personal tutor to Charles, Prince of Wales, and retired in 1982, the same year the school closed. He passed away in 1987.
