Mieko Kenjō, born on January 26, 1946, is a Japanese announcer, essayist, journalist, and news caster. Nicknamed 'Kenken', she is affiliated with Kenjō Mieko Office. Since September 2012, she has been in business partnership with TBS Sparkle (formerly Cast Plus). Mieko is married to Minoru Tanaka, who serves as a councilor at Aomori University, and they have four children.
