Miel Cools is a Flemish singer and cabaret artist born on April 15, 1935, in Herk-de-Stad. He is sometimes referred to as 'The nestor of cabaret art' in Flanders. Cools began his career in cabaret in 1954 and gained fame performing songs by various artists, while also composing his own music. He celebrated his 50-year career in 2004 and launched a new program in February 2005. His well-known songs include 'Boer Bavo' and 'Houden van.'
