Miguel Poblet i Orriols, also known as Miquel Poblet, was a Catalan cyclist born in Montcada i Reixac, Catalonia, on March 18, 1928, and passed away in Barcelona on April 6, 2013. He is regarded as the best Catalan cyclist in history. Poblet had a professional cycling career from 1944 until 1962, achieving 62 victories, including two overall classifications of the Volta a Catalunya, two Milan-San Remo wins, and multiple stage wins in the Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, and Vuelta a España. He was also a Spanish mountain champion in the late 1940s.
