Michael Thomas Azinger is an American Republican politician currently serving as a member of the West Virginia Senate for the 3rd district since January 11, 2017. He previously represented the 10th District in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2015 to 2017, succeeding his father, Tom Azinger. Before his legislative career in West Virginia, Azinger lived in Ohio, where he unsuccessfully ran for the Sixth Congressional District twice, both in 1998 and 2000, with varying degrees of success in the Republican primaries.
