Asoka Milinda Moragoda is a Sri Lankan politician and businessman born on June 4, 1964. He is currently serving as the Sri Lankan High Commissioner Designate to India. Previously, he was a Member of Parliament representing the Colombo District and held various ministerial roles, including Minister of Justice and Law Reform and Minister of Tourism. His political career also included being the Opposition Leader of the Colombo Municipal Council. Moragoda faced accusations of corruption in 2007 but transitioned to the ruling government to avoid prosecution.
