Miroslav Ambro was a Czech cameraman and dubbing director for Czech television in Brno. He completed his high school education in 1952 and started studying at FAMU before his untimely death. Ambro died from smoke inhalation in a fire at the Typos building in Brno, where Czechoslovak Television was based. At the time of his death, he was working on the dubbing of the film 'Knife in the Water' directed by Roman Polanski. His daughter, Alena, was a theater actress.
