Mitsu Shimojo is a Japanese politician born in 1955, representing the Democratic Party of Japan. He serves as a member of the House of Representatives in Japan's national legislature (the Diet). Shimojo is originally from Matsumoto in Nagano Prefecture and graduated from Shinshu University. He first became a member of the Diet in 2003 after an unsuccessful campaign in 2000. His political career has been focused on national legislation and representation.
