Nikolay Zinovyev was a Soviet and Russian poet, born in Moscow on May 17, 1945. He was renowned for his contributions as a songwriter, having written over two hundred songs. Zinovyev published eight poetry collections, including 'Stolknovenie' in 1973 and 'Stop-kryk' in 1991. He also created a play called 'Bobby Sands – Superstar' in 1985 and a poetic novel titled 'The Gospel from the Comet' in 1986. His work was recognized multiple times at the 'Song of the Year' festival. He passed away in Moscow on August 17, 2018.
