Oddfríður Marni Rasmussen is a Faroese author, poet, children's book writer, editor, and teacher, born on February 22, 1969, in Tórshavn. He grew up in Sandur and debuted as a poet in 1992. He won the Faroese Literature Prize twice, first in 2000 for a poetry collection and again in 2009 for editing the literary magazine Vencil. Having studied at the Copenhagen Writers' School and trained as a teacher, he has published multiple poetry collections, children's books, and literary translations. He's the younger brother of composer Sunleif Rasmussen.
