Ola Rolf Gloppestad was a Norwegian journalist and editor, born on February 15, 1946, in Sandane, Gloppen. He graduated from Firda offentlige landsgymnas in 1965 and began his career at Gula Tidend in Bergen, where he was mentored by editor Per Håland. He later worked as night editor for Nationen before returning to Gloppen as the editor of Firda Tidend from 1974 to 1977. In addition to journalism, he was a talented musician specializing in jazz.
