Ondina Valéria Pimentel, also known as Mãe Ondina or Mãezinha, was a prominent Ialorixá (priestess) of the Ilê Axé Opô Afonjá in Salvador, Brazil. Born on February 8, 1916, she made significant contributions to Afro-Brazilian culture and religious practices through her leadership and spiritual guidance. Ondina held an important role in her community until her passing on March 19, 1975, in Salvador. Her legacy continues to influence the practices and appreciation of Candomblé today.
