Ondrej Šoth is a Slovak choreographer and theater director born on January 23, 1960, in Bardejov. After graduating from the conservatory in Košice in 1979, he studied choreography and dance direction under Professor Nosáľ at VŠMU in Bratislava from 1979 to 1983. He received the title of artD in 2009. Šoth has guest-directed at the National Theatre in Prague since 1985 and served as the general director of the Slovak National Theatre from May 2010 to September 2011.
