Orhon Murat Arıburnu (1918 or 1920 – April 11, 1989) was a Turkish author and playwright. He co-founded the Turkish Writers' Union and spent part of his career in Germany. In the 1940s, he was part of the First New poetry movement known for its ironic brevity. During his time as a theater director in Berlin, he gained recognition among German audiences through poetry readings. His poetry collection 'Bu yürek sizin' (1982) was published in German in 1987. After his death, an award named after him was established, celebrating achievements in film and literature.
