Ostonaqul Shokirov (April 1, 1922 - January 11, 1945) was a Kazakh scout who participated in World War II. He was drafted into the Soviet Army in December 1941 and served in the 75th Guards Rifle Regiment. On July 15, 1944, he was among the first to cross the Neman River south of the city of Alytus, where he engaged in combat and destroyed enemy machine gun positions. He died in battle in 1945 and was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union on March 24, 1945. He is commemorated in his hometown of Andijan.
