Otto Schmidt was an Austrian journalist and reporter for ORF, born on March 20, 1953, in Styria. He grew up in Pinkafeld and moved to Tübingen in 1968. Otto trained in acting, pantomime, and speaking at a prestigious arts school and became known for his work in Vienna, where he conducted over 10,000 interviews. His storytelling, Wiener G'schichten, gained popularity. Schmidt won a hosting competition and worked for Radio Wien. He passed away on January 7, 2009, after a long illness, leaving behind his wife Alexandra and three children.
