P.V. Krishnamoorthy (April 1, 1921 - October 16, 2019) was the former director of Akashvani Cuttack from May 24, 1958 to October 18, 1960 and the first chief director of Doordarshan. During his tenure at Akashvani Cuttack, he elevated the standard of programming and significantly promoted Odisha's cultural heritage through broadcasting. He was instrumental in bringing many Odia artists into the limelight. He was popularly known by the name PVK.
