João Pedro Palma (1959-2017) was a Portuguese cartoonist, journalist, and photojournalist known for his extensive contributions to national press and artistic creation. He began his career in cartooning in 1980 and was involved in various creative endeavors, including Gestualismo and literary fiction. Palma published three books, including 'Caricartoons' and 'Direitos do Homem - em cartoons e caricaturas'. He was also a member of the Cartoonists and Writers Syndicate from 1994 until his tragic death under mysterious circumstances in 2017.
