Pere Camps i Marsans was a Spanish tiblaire, drummer, and composer of sardanes born on January 9, 1908, in Granollers. He started performing with J.M. Vilaró's orchestra at age fourteen and later joined the Catalònia orchestra. After relocating to Cassà de la Selva, he became a member and eventually the director of the cobla La Principal de Cassà. Camps composed around twenty-five sardanes, including two choral pieces: Colla Catalunya and Germanor, both created in 1951. He passed away on October 24, 1976.
