Peter Delaney, also known as Pierre de la Ney du Vair, was an American soldier of French origin, later naturalized French. He rose to the rank of SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer in the SS-Standarte Kurt Eggers, a unit of war correspondents and propaganda. Declassified documents suggest that Delaney initially served in the Légion des Volontaires Français before joining the SS war correspondents unit, where he notably met Martin James Monti. He was killed in 1945.
