Peter Nicholls (born 13 February 1959) is the lead singer of the progressive rock band IQ. He briefly left the band in the late 1980s to form Niadem's Ghost but returned in 1990. Nicholls is known for his entertaining and eccentric stage presence. He is also a painter, having created album covers for several IQ albums. Additionally, in the 1980s, he worked as an editor and letterer for comics publishers London Editions Magazines.
