Initially, he worked in technical professions before joining the Jesuits in Vienna following the Warsaw Pact invasion in 1968. He spent many years in Paris, where he published and sent banned books to Czechoslovakia. He worked for Vatican Radio and returned to Czechoslovakia post-revolution, contributing to religious broadcasting and Jesuit youth formation. He passed away on May 20, 2023, due to a traffic accident.
