Prabodhananda was a controversial spiritual guru, proponent of the Tritha philosophy, and prolific author from India. Born as Gutta Pedanna Chaudhari, he established institutions such as Prabodha Ashrama, Sri Krishna Mandir, and Indu Jnana Vedika in his hometown. He believed in the unity of divine knowledge found within the Bhagavad Gita, Bible, and Quran, promoting the Tritha philosophy. Beginning in 1978, he distanced himself from his former name and started disseminating his philosophical ideas, which led to local conflicts due to his controversial teachings. He died in his ashram in 2020.
