Preben Gylche alias Robert Olsen was born on January 30, 1927, in Copenhagen and was a tinsmith and member of the resistance group BOPA. He was arrested and wounded by the Gestapo during a disarmament operation in Scala, Copenhagen, on February 8, 1945. Later, he was sentenced to death by a German court in Copenhagen and executed on February 27, 1945, along with nine others. He was buried in the large grave field at Mindelunden in Ryvangen on August 29, 1945.
