Nguyễn Văn Thành, born in 1957, is a Vietnamese politician and senior general in the People's Public Security of Vietnam, holding the rank of Senior General. He currently serves as the Deputy Head of the Central Theoretical Council of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Previously, he was a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party in the XI and XII terms, a member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, and Deputy Minister of Public Security.
