آفتاب احمد خان, also known as ڈاکٹر آفتاب مضطر, is a prominent Urdu poet from Pakistan, born on August 13, 1959. He was a disciple of the famous Urdu poet فدا خالدی دہلوی. His well-known ghazal 'ہر ظلم تیرا یاد ہے بھولا تو نہیں ہوں' was famously sung by the Pakistani singer سجاد علی. آفتاب مضطر earned his Ph.D. in Urdu literature from the University of Karachi in 2016 and has published several acclaimed poetry collections. He has also received multiple awards for his contributions to poetry and music.
