Azat Shishyan (April 24, 1912 - December 7, 1988) was an Armenian composer and an Honored Teacher of the Armenian SSR. He served as the president of the Leninakan branch of the Armenian Choral Society. Born in Baberd, Turkey, he contributed significantly to Armenian music and education during his lifetime in the Armenian SSR and the USSR.
