Vagharchak Mkrtchyan Kyurkychyan was an Armenian dairy technologist and an agricultural scientist, born on January 13, 1905, in Oltu, Turkey. He became a Doctor of Agricultural Sciences in 1970 and was recognized as a Meritorious Scientist of the Armenian SSR in 1961. He passed away on August 28, 1978, in Yerevan, Soviet Armenia.
